The glow from the laptop screen illuminated Sarah’s face as she sat cross-legged on her bed. She scrolled through the online listing. The realtor’s photos of the house were crisp and professional, but it was *her* house. A small smile played on her lips as she looked.

Her shoulders relaxed slightly, she felt her jaw unclench. Memories, vivid and rich, danced through her mind. Riding bikes up and down the driveway, baking cookies in the kitchen with her mother. She stretched her arms out wide, her fingers reaching up as if to feel the ceiling.

It was strange seeing it this way, presented for sale. But there was no agitation, no sadness, just a gentle pull of familiarity. She leaned back, resting against the pillows, and decided to take a virtual tour, just for fun.
